Top quality boots
This review is for the Sorel Men’s Explorer Next Boot Waterproof Casual WinterExcellent pair of boots, well made and really comfy to wear. Fit as expected by they are fairly narrow. I have narrow feet and found these tight. There than that really good. Hoping they will stretch over time.

Warm Lightweight Casual Winter Boots
Initial impressions when putting my foot in, they are pretty comfortable and you can certainly feel the insulation material. They are really lightweight on the foot even though the sole is chunky. There is small layer of leather around the shoe, but most of the shoes material used is suede which feels soft. The suede material as you go up the shoe gets really thin and wrinkles up – they don’t have much padding at the top but this does mean they are not too bulky and look a bit more streamline where you can wear jeans over them or tuck them in. Walking does feel a little stiff at first, but I’d imagine they will quickly loosen up over time as I wear them in when the colder weather hits.Overall, these are certainly causal boots for the winter that are pretty comfortable and will keep your feet warm whilst being lightweight and waterproof.

Surprisingly comfy!
I normally wear a 7.5 shoe size and these were 7s – got me a bit worried but I had already placed the order. When they arrived and I tried them on, I was so surprised to see how comfortable these boots are. The inside has a layer of felt which is incredibly cosy and goes a treat with thick socks.I then went out and immediately noticed how comfy they are to walk in as well!Because they’re waterproof , they’re great when taking a hike and if the weather is crappy, I strongly recommend heated socks for that extra comfort.Another thing I like is the sole. It’s got a very grippy rubber material in the middle, great for slippery surfaces. The one thing I don’t like as much is the tongue…it’s too thin and it wrinkles when tightening my laces. If they made it a bit thicker, maybe with some sponge inside , I think it would’ve been much better however for the price I believe they’re good enough for that to not be an issue.

Nicely made.
Well made, however I found the fit too narrow and the bridge too low for my feet, and whilst the listing does have a size guide, it’s only toe-to-heel and it really needs to include some width measurements.Aside from my fitting problems, the boots are attractive and well made using quality materials.
